Laura Mantovi laura.mantovi@gmail.it Laura Mantovi was born in Brescia on 7.11.1975. She lives in Brescia. She is a professional actress. She started her theatrical study at the CUT - Centre University Theatrical - and at the school of theatre and movement Danza Lab. She attended workshops for professional actors with the following groups: A.T.I.R. from Milano, Teatro Nucleo from Ferrara and many other workshops about different theatrical technique. She was selected by Paolo Rossi for a workshop about Molière open just for five musician-actors. In the 2000 she founded the Teatro Magma and she produced many performances in which she acted and also directed. In ‘01 she entered into the Fabbrica del Vento as actress and she also became the person in charge of the organization. With FDV she improved in the art of movement and the research of the acting. She also studies music (she sings and plays flute, sax , guitar, bass and percussions), physical expression (she attends stages of contemporary dance, capoeira, clownerie and acrobatic) and juggling.
